After much hard work ( by my friendly mechanic) my lovely Trophy Yellow TF has now passed its MOT and is all freshly serviced
Now sporting new brakes and new underfloor stainless steel pipes to go with the stainless steel sub frame mounts.

Only thing is - where has the sun gone?

Congratulations  .That's a worry out of the way . Well the weather has gone pear shaped in Yorkshire too so , we shall all have to be patient . Patience is something that I am loosing with the guy who runs a paint shop near by . I removed my TF's bumpers to have them repainted and I am beginning to regret it as I could have hand built a new car in the time he has had them ! Ho hum ! John , Pudsey

How big a job is it to remove the bumpers? I really should replace the grills?

Well down here the sun disappeared this afternoon. Which meant I have had 3 top down days after mine passing the MOT this week! I did get some strange looks this morning on the way to work as it was a bit nippy!

It isn't that involved if you know where the screws and bolts are, you'll need a Torx T50 bit for the TF.

Wipers off, roof off...............

I amuse my colleagues arriving at work at 6 a.m. in mid winter with the roof down.

The job is fairly easy to do as long as rust hasn't taken a firm grip of the large torqx head bolts front and rear . There is a very helpful ' How to ' which shows how it's done on this forum .
