1. Why is it called the T-bar? Of all names?
2. Does the forum need monetary support and if so, how to go about it?

Cheers.

The bar behind the seats is known as a T bar, hence the name. At least, I assume that's how it came about.

In terms of monetary support, we used to have a Donate button but I think it's been removed temporarily. Hopefully, it will be back someday.

In the meantime, if you buy anything off eBay, we have a link in the toolbar above the editing window marked, funnily enough eBay. If you click that and insert the item number you're buying between the start and end tags ie. [ ebay ] item number [ \ ebay ], we get a kick back from eBay :woowoo:

There is a page full of eBay purchases on it but you don't have to use that particularly.

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense - it's a lot easier than trying to describe it!

LOL. Haven't noticed this bar yet, probably because I'm a very new owner. Will have a look tomorrow.

Thank you for your description of how to support the forum but it sounds extremely complicated. I've bought several parts on eBay already (not via a forum link 'cause I search on eBay itself).

If anyone legit would send me a pp invoice (pm me for the address) I'll gladly donate a tiny bit of the money left after sinking the rest into the resurrection of Phixie ;)

It's the one with the speakers in it - kind of T shaped.

Erm.... my only speakers are in the doors. Never use them anyway. Closed or with hardtop they can't keep up with the racket and open I just don't want them ;)

OK - it's the T shaped panel behind the seats that extends down into the centre console and cubby.

I'm with you on the speakers. I have a radio but it's hardly ever on, roof up or down. I prefer listening to the exhaust note :yesnod:

If you use the ebay tab above inserting the item number between the brackets and then click on through to the item the forum gets a small kick back.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

1. That's a good question. You'd think we'd be ready for that one wouldn't you?..

This is the T-Bar. Some of them have speakers. Some don't.

2. All site upkeep donations are greatly appreciated. PM 'Psymon' if you wish to do so. Otherwise just use the ebay method. Here's how that works.

Click here for the ebay thread and you'll see some examples.

Thanks for your support. :)
