Not a mg topic but my reception is crappy now we have moved into our new works premises. ..breaktimes looking on the t bar is possible now and again the reception is the same for other network users...my phone is a Samsung s5..on ee network.anyone had any dealings with signal boosters that are advertised on ebay?

If it is a steel frame building then the reception will be patchy as work found out when they built a new building! I have used both a Vodafone and EE signal booster at home and they do work very well. The Vodafone one was a faff as you had to register every number that would use it. Then it would only let 5 use it at any one time. The EE one just boosts the signal for any EE phone including the virtual carriers on their network. I’m on Plusnet and it shows a full 3G signal.

All the "signal boosters" are illegal in this country.
I would be very surprised if the EE one was a true "signal booster".
The only legal ones are the ones supplied by the mobile networks, which rely on the internet for connection.

My one was supplied by EE and the Vodafone one by Vodafone. Yes they use the internet to boost the signal but the fact is they work.

I thinks the boosters require broadband.
