Etc....

I thought as I've got a big body repair to do, I would wiggle out a couple of very small dents at the same time

ok... quick update:

wow! They really do work!!!

A quid off ebay... bargain!

You literally just clean the area of the dent, slap a bit of hotmelt glue on them, press onto metal and wait a couple mins, then just pull the dent out... Toolchest looks as good as new, and thats thicker steel than the car.... Im fairly confident I can pull out the little dent on Hesketh with them. The bigger one, sadly is not in the paintless category, having been previously filled and painted and now cracking :(

Well there really isn't much more to say, you just glue em on and pull!

But I will try and grab some pictures and a narrative

Any specific type of hot melt glue needed? And what do you use to pull them? Have you got one of the special slide hammers as shown in the videos?

I have a couple of small dents that might react to this technique and have wondered about it before :-? :-? :-?

well, I just used some sticks from poundland and it seems OK. Im sure someone sells expensive ones branded for dent removal, but I dont think its needed.

I used a claw hammer and a block of wood, but you can get a handle that slips over them to just pull, or you can get an attachment to go onto a standard slide hammer.

There are some inexpensive kits on ebay that have a bar with two suction cups that has a screw mechanism to apply steady traction too.

If you search on youtube for glue pulling or paintless dent removal you will see loads of examples. One guy just stuffs a nail through a cork and glues that on!

I will try and put a list of vids and stuff on ebay.

I suggest you do as I did and have a practice on something first, and possibly a glue test inside the boot or somewhere out of site first.

Thanks for the update.

I did do a search for paintless dent removal on eBay and found a couple of kits - one at £19 which had a puller with it and the glue sticks so may give that a go. Then again, I may just buy some of the plastic doodads, I've got some hot melt glue sticks and try with a claw hammer as you did.

Thanks again - it's nice to know that these actually work. I'm a bit suspicious of some of these gadgets but obviously, you've got it to work. Good enough for me.
