Today's new toys...
The other thing that looks useful is the pointy tool for knocking down high spots. Ive got a length of nylon bar I can turn down to a blunt point in my lathe, but its probably worth buying one.
Ive got quite a bit of repair work to do, as commented - taking out the existing filler in a dent, so Im really quite tempted to pick up an odd body panel from the local scrappy and generally have a practice at dent pulling, filling, sanding and spraying before I do too much to Hesketh.
Practice makes perfect etc

At first thought these were butt plugs for coffee spammers .but hey yeh...my step father had a guy around to pull a dent...he told me they performed the dent pulling in a simular no drill way ..but come on....glue sticks from pound land. ..I bought some before and the strength is shite!...if you wanted to illegally enter this country glued to the underside of the eurostar then you would think again if someone suggested pound land glue sticks.

well yeah... thats generally the idea... so that it pulls the dent then parts, rather than pulling the paint off

Looks good but one silly question, how do you remove them again?

Have my doubts about pound land glue sticks because I've got a drawer full at work along with a glue gun....beginning to think I should donate them to the blue Peter crew....

just peels off... bit of isopropanol to help if needed, but in tests on tool chest the plastic tab either took glue with it, or it just rolled off

Ok... Quick further update... Having done a glue test on Hesketh - I can confirm that it needs to be done on a cooler day!
A dark coloured car that's been sat in direct sunlight since 8am is almost as hot as the glue gun...
...it should therefore come as no surprise that it remains gloopy rather than setting into a solid as it did on my tool chest test.

Yes I can see how this weather turns your mg into a hot melt glue gun...I burnt my fingers taking the pins out of the engine cover at the weekend has the car was outside and baking.....can't wait to see some before and after shots of your dent pulling......I saw a dent puller a while back which was a weld system....it welds a stud to the center of the dent and after pulling I reckon it's grind off time...but that's not a paint less system...but for more aggressive dents. The power etc slide hammer looks posh...but I bet you could fabricate one easily enough

I tried this today with a couple of small dents that have been annoying me for a while, one on the boot lid and one near the fuel filler cap.
Not 100% successful but a bit better I think - certainly worth the £5 for the kit and about 30mins of my time. The one on the boot lid is almost gone and the one by the fuel filler is much reduced.
I did manage to create a few scratches when cleaning off the glue though. Something to bear in mind. Hopefully they'll come off with T-Cut
