Looks like a lot of them are already being stripped for parts...but by whom?
If the government picked up the bill for scrappage, then they belong to the government, which means they belong to all of us :woohoo:

The original plan was for the cars to be recycled after they were rendered safe to transport, fuels and oils removed etc and then stripped for parts, but the plan like most government ideas was ill thought out hence this huge backlog.
Classic car enthusiasts should start a petition to get some of these cars sorted, before the RAF start to use the cars for target practice?
Come to think of it we don't have any money to buy ammunition for the aircraft at the moment; so they will be safe for a while yet...….hope there are no hostile countries reading this forum?
