Cool Wall - Mazda MX-5 Mk1
It's a two seater, it was made to look like an English two seater soft top. You may not drive one but is cool?

Eye catching, generally reliable, fun to drive and a convertible with a huge following and a welcoming community.. it has all the coolness that you would need.
'Super cool' gets my vote. :broon:
Here's the new engine.

I actually prefer the later models. I have nothing against MX5's in general, but in my opinion an awful lot of the pop-up headlight variant look very tatty now. Tend to have dull paint and misaligned lights...

The best thing about the MX-5 is that it led to the MGF.
I do prefer the earlier MX5's to the later ones.

The pop up headlight MkI gets my vote. You can legally decat and remap the early ones as well. As noted above good examples are getting scarce but a cool car. Mazda bought and evaluated some English classics like MGBs TR4s and Lotus Elans to get the experience right. A tough job but someone has to fo it

Get my vote every day, I am on my third MK1 and the pop up headlights saved me from a deer going through the screen this winter so they are a must for me!!

They are a fun little car. Mazda did a good job designing MX5, or Miata as it was know here in NA. First and second generation cars go for pretty cheap over here.
