They have their place in history, alongside the Black Death and rickets.

The 2CV always reminds me of those eco warriors in the 80s driving along in their 2CV with large "Nuclear Power, No Thanks" stickers unaware they were driving one of the most polluting cars on the road.

I've been on two wheels in a ragtop 2CV with three other teenagers, doing 20mph round the top of Leith Walk roundabout...


so much terror for so little outlay...
