Help - Underbody Clips - Source
Hi all
First post requiring some sourcing assistance.
We are 8 months into restoring my 15 year old Sons first car (2001 on a Y) MGF in Platinum Silver.
Interior has been completely stripped, and taken back to bare metal with all previous suspect repairs corrected and all new components installed where required (roof leaks left unattended really do cause a mess)
Front subframe and all running gear has been removed, taken back to bare metal and repainted (waiting to be re-installed)
Under bonnet and all associated components taken back to bare metal and repainted.
Underbody has been taken back to bare metal, seam sealed, zinc primed, painted and under sealed, withe brake and clutch lines replaced.
Which leads me to my question, most of the retaining clips for the suspension hoses, brake and clutch lines have snapped.
I have located them, however do alternatives exist or do I have to really spend this much on plastic.
Sourced them at £5.40 each

Hi £2.40 each at Rimmer Bros, £2.45 at MGOC. MG part: SYC100750. You will need to pay for delivery at both these sellers. Good luck. G.

Many of the clips and fasteners used on the F/TF are not unique to the F/TF. Companies like
Car Trim Clips & Fasteners - Trade Prices - Vehicleclips.co.uk — VehicleClips
carry many of the clips you are looming for, although I don't know about UYC100230. Of course, you can't search by the MG Rover part number. I'm sure there are more companies than the one I suggested here.
