Any body handy with a tape measure was created by psymon

Just put the wings and lights back on my car to make sure it all lines up before welding it, And surprise surprise it doesn't line up, infact it seems to be about and inch out height wise. the new front stands about a inch higher than what its meeting up with.

The car is an MGF and the front part is a TF, i'm hopping its the Suspension mounts being difference which has thrown it out.

Could i get a couple of measurements from you guys, from a F and a TF, need the two marked A and B below.

The TF has a different layout - you can see from the photo that the top shock mount is further back however I was able to compare this with my MGF and the hole you see in the photo is the mount position on the F. Its not so easy to get in with a tape because of the horn mounts - and take a photo but taking a stab at the position of the support bracket surrounding the mount (on the F) and measuring at the right hand side of this, up to the horizontal step, I get 65mm.

Cheers Guys, That clears that up, Looks like the panel ontop the shock/Hydrogas is at a different height on the F than the TF.

Going to have to get creative with the welder.

Double check before you fire up the welder - comparing my F & TF the 'A' height did look the same, but the horns did get in the way a bit:whistle:
