Sump baffles
At the moment I am looking at the Minster Power, Lakeside engineering and Hellier performance units.
They vary in price from £350 +VAT for the Minster system, which is a CNC machined and Aly welded system (but you provide your own sump) to the Lakeside one for around £200, which seems to sit in the sump.
I am going to go for a baffled sump, just wondering if anyone can recommend any others.
I can't justify the expense of a dry sump system before anyone mentions it.

You have mentioned all the best sources but it is fairly easy to make yur own. My race mechanic has said he will draw you a pattern for one if you fancy the diy method. Having said that , oil surge is not as big a problem in rear or mid mounted k series, as it seems mainly to afflict front engined set ups. Still worth doing for the supercharged unit because oil feed will be more critical.CJJ;12450 wrote: I am looking at sump baffling at the moment and wondered if any one knows of any good systems.

Had a good reply from Lakeside, so I think I will be going with them.
I realise that the baffling route for a mainly road going car is a bit overkill, but with the investment that I am making in this engine I don't want to risk oil starvation for the sake of £200.
While I am sure the Minster is a quality product I just think that £350 +VAT is a bit overkill, especially when you have to provide a clean and healthy sump yourself.
