In the recent dry spell I decided it was time to give my F's hood a good going over with the AutoGlym pack I had bought ages ago.
Duly hoovered it cleaned it and reproofed it. It looked great!
I had to go to the dentist today... ouch! in both pain and pocket, came out to find it had been pouring down and still was.
I lit a smoke, to help get over the recent trauma, jumped in the car and opened the window... drove out of the car park turned left and.... you guessed it.. a lap full of water from the roof!
Then I remember Kara saying a similar thing... time to give up the evil weed I guess, nah it wasn't that bad really!
It proves the stuff works though, water beads nicely on it now. Can't understand why it didn't leak before, the rest of the car did.
Older but certainly not wiser!
