It is actually redicolously loud, and no sensible person in their right mind would buy one for use on an everyday car... so just right for nutters like myself.

Well you said that not me ;) I have a scorpion and at times, (low gears high revs) it can be a little loud too... But I love it :)

 Well so long as you're happy with it even when they're carting you off to A&E for burst ear drumbs then that's all that matters!

On a side note - Neil has been invited to join this forum as I don't really think it's fair that his exhausts are praised without him getting a chance to read it as creator! I know if people were mentioning something that was my baby I'd like to know about it! Would certainly cheer me up to think people were spreading the word about my creation. :)

Ooh I'd love to hear a Scorpion in the flesh as it's on my exhaust wishlist when my Janspeed finally dies!

Any more and it would shake the car apart from the vibrations. I can feel it vibrating in my chest the same way a big sub/speaker does in a nightclub. God knows how it will sound when I take the hard top off in Summer.

I have a TTmk4/2 its loud and it resonates thru the car very loudly at 3000 - 4000 revs.

I think the point about the car shaking to pieces, altho tongue in cheek, isnt too far off the mark. I think that each car has different harmonics and vibrates with the exhaust, some cars more than others and all differently again because of the fact that panels and fittings will be tightened by different people, mods, hood up/down, hard top on, wieght of driver/passenger, road surface etc etc.... in a nutshell, I believe each exhaust will sound differently on different cars.

hope that makes sense :dunno:

good post Gos :) I for one pretty much love any nice sounding exhaust regardless of make but going with the TT got the free bonus of having something a bit more exclusive as its mg only and a labour of love

On top of that the guys who made my manifold didnt tighten the right hand hanger which left the pipe in contact with the bumper :( melted slightly

Neil though was uber helpful and sorted me out!
