Is there a "light mode", I only ask because the refresh rate on my work pc is crap, and I have to watch the screen "build" 4 times each time I change or update the page I am on... Takes about 4 seconds per build, so makes surfing at work a nightmare!

Yep - use the silver green option... no background on that.

What browser and Version are you using at work, the Background shouldn't be reloading, Or it could be your machine doesn't have the correct Video driver installed.
