New fibreglass bonnets.
The supplier has a good record of providing high quality fibreglass bonnets and panels for race cars etc and will be a quality item.
The bonnet will be finished in grey gel coat, ready to prep and spray.
It will be an original bonnet in all respects regards fittings etc.
I have specified that I want to keep the bonnet release catch etc, rather than using pins to hold the bonnet down.
The vents will be made so that you can fit the mesh of your choice to match your car.
The advantages?
The fibreglass bonnet will be a lot lighter than the original.
It keeps all original fittings etc from your old bonnet.
You can use the vents to duct the air from your radiator which has been proven to reduce front end lift.
The cost?
I will be honest with you
The bonnets will cost £165, however, the original mould will cost £360 to make so I will be looking to recoup some of that, otherwise I will be paying £525 for my bonnet.
So, I would say initially £215 +P&P (No idea how much the P&P would be yet.
If there is enough committed buyers then the price of the mould surcharge (£50) will come down. For example, if there are 10 to be made then it will drop to £36. I am not in this to make a profit, and if only 2 people want bonnets then I will have to take a hit and will keep the surcharge at £50.
Here are some pics.
A rough mockup showing what it looks like on a TF with the standard bumper and an F.
It is also worth metioning that the bonnet will fit the F as well as the TF as they are the same item.
I need firm commitment for those who are interested and will probably need a £50 non refundable deposit (balance to be paid on bonnet being completed).
So, let me know if you are interested.

I will try and get a good photo of a Royal Blue F and see what I can do.
Photographs of the underside are pointless as this is the prototype and a bit ropy underneath. The finished product will, I'm assured, be properly finished underneath.

Ooh, my first taker.
Obviously I can pick yours up and drop it off for you, so no P&P involved.

Errr, not sure now. It's a lot bigger than the standard TF one.
