is it possible to remove the heater motor without removing the whole unit? i have a dodgy connection (or worn bushes) and was thinking of just whipping the old one out and maybe replacing with a second hand motor.
has anyone tried this? the clutch pedal seems to be in the way.

Not sure on this one mate but I reckon if anyone knows it'll be VVC Steve as he probably sells them so has experience removing them. Might be worth PMing him here or on .org :)

If you don't have A/C it's much easier to work on.

You can't do it and not share how you did it. That's just rude ;)

i would have loved to do a how to with pics an all, allas you need three hands just to remove the blower motor, the top screw of the three is a pain in the ass to get out. however it would be easy to repeat now that i know what im doing. oh, i cant post pics on here at the moment as not paid up yet.
