not sure if i have posted this in the area , but looking for a trustworthy garage in the b-ham area to carry out cambelt change on my mgf, along with a coolant change and they bleed it properly, as we know this could lead to a hgf. whats the going rate ive had a few quotes from £160 to a whopping £360 (yes i did laugh at the garage) for a cambelt change. ive always done my own serviceing etc eversince i was ripped off 25yrs ago, buti have never done a cambelt on the car it might be a good idea to start a list on trustworthy garages for mg owners to use, any help please

The only one I know in the middle of the country might be a bit too far away from you B & B Motors at Corby

He's a good reliable guy and his work is top quality but not the cheapest

The other alternative is to contact Russell at MGRoversolutions. He comes to you and is highly recommended. He is also very reasonable on price. RUSSELL

He is very busy, though, but worth waiting for!

http://www.bbmotors.co.uk/

thats B&B the owner is Keith Norris a down to earth guy for an Xpart dealer

But if you want an on site service I couldn't recommend anyone better than Russell and he'll most likely be a lot cheaper than a dealer too

Knowing him he's most likely still under a car somewhere in the country, if you send an email or leave a message I'm sure he'll get back to you
