I've been eyeing your spoiler up, been thinking either a worm drive or pnumatics, All though whilst typing this i've thought of an elctromagnet to force the spoiler to rise. hmmm

The problem was keeping the lift ridged and lifting striaght up but able to lift round a corner, I've sorted that bit, but smaller lift gear i.e. motors would be handy

Its simple if you dont use a standard MG spoiler, but on MG ones the bases are angled outwards an the spoiler still needs to lift striaght up

Worm drive was my thought with some sort of high speed stepper motor.

I have been thinking of a breakout cable for a while, but I will wait until I have gone emerald as that is just straight forward USB.

Now I sort of know what I'm doing, I can slim this one right down, but ideally I want a curcuit board doing for the relays, its now got 4 switching the supply for up/down and 8 controlling the auto feature, thats shut off power to manual switch in both up/down, brake and both mercury switches

I thought of something like a worm drive with two motors but then thought what if they dont turn at the same speed, then there was the problem of lifting both front and rear

I'm happy with the actual lift mech below the spoiler(cable & bracket), it just needs a more refined version allowing for length adjustment, but I could just chop the cables once out of that section and lift by a smaller motor or worm, that would get rid of the messy cables and hydrolic ram box

Sorry for drifting on your thread
