Downloaded and installed no problem - it did lose my existing car data but i didn't have a huge list of parts and job schedules so wasn't an issue for me.

I've been inputting data into it all afternoon. Fantastic and very usefull piece of software. Love the fact that it downloads all the how to's as well.

Seems like quite a few members are taking advantage of it being available once again, good on you for making it available again.

Was allways my plan. But taking over from Kara as Forum Owner has kept me busy and everything else has been on the back burner for a while.

Downloaded latest version - works great on W7 64bit with 'compatibility for Win XP SP2' applied to the shortcut.

Now I'll start documenting all the bits I've done / will do!

7 is actually pretty good as it wil run most things in one form of compatibility or another - all you have to do is right click on the shortcut and choose 'Troubleshoot compatibility' - then choose its recommended route and it usually works!

You can also run 'XP' in a virtual machine if you want to. See HERE for official version.

HERE is a version from VMWare that a mate swears by!

With Adam on that one, Better to go forward to 7 then back to XP, if the machine just about ran vista then 7 will fly on it probably faster than XP would.

V2 of the workshop companion, actually named MyMG will require at least vista.

I tend to reluctant to make things even more complicated.
(My current learning experience involves setting up our digital cable:S )
So it is reassuring to hear that 7 isn't going to make me crazy!

That exacalty why it is going to be vista/7 only , had the same idea when u suggested the gadget for the thread reader, great minds think a like
