Brakes Replaced
Just renewed four discs and eight pads to complete this years projects (underfloor pipes and exhaust back box also).
Took great pleasure in 'doing it myself' (with my son's help).
Found the disc retaining screws impossible to replace after having to drill out, but as long as nuts tightened correctly and discs seated properly have relied on these.
Did the brakes for a total of about £70. Will they last I ask myself?!
Followed the guides on this site, with the laptop on the garage bench. Thaks again to those who took trouble to photo in the various stages - invaluable.
Drove a couple of hundred miles this last weekend and all performing as they should :woohoo:
Only thing now is annual test and perhaps new rear screen.
