....for a change things seem to have gone not only to plan, but better than to plan..

Radiator ----didn't have to change, just replaced the blled screw and today on a 40 mile trip it was running cooler than normal and the level of coolant went UP when warm, not down.....

AND the throttle problem, was all ready to replace IACV, got the spare one, gave it a good clean, but before I removed the access hatch, I fiddled with the adjuster screw and ....sorted

Easisest jobs in a while, and successful....................................its surely an omen and we are all about to die soon?

Something not at all right there

But you must be due some good car related luck by now Iain

I had some of your misfortune yesterday, I have the MGF up for sale just now and on Friday night it decided not to unlock the passenger door even though the door button popped up and down - I suspect it must have double locked even though I never use that feature:angry:

So yesterday the door card had to come off - thankfully without damage then I attacked the lock with a chisel from within the door and got the door open. Luckily the local scrappie had a replacement lock so now all working again. I am sure the car is sulking because its for sale;)

Hmmm. Maybe I should opt out of .org just for tomorrow as DeepBlue has a date with an MOT tester. :(

I took the van in last Thursday and that ended up costing £253. :pinch:

Now you've got me worried. I'm driving my daughter's Jetta to work tomorrow
as i'm midway through Renovo-ing the MGF and I don't want to take it out in the rain till it's waterproofed.
I may be tempting fate!

I don't dare take the TR7...That would be a disaster for sure!
