Guys, has anybody tried fitting a pair of VVC exhaust cams to a standard 1.8? it appears the profiles are very similar to the 135 cams, seems a cheap upgrade without too much stress to fit. Any thoughts before I start the search?.

Just given up on this based on the rarity of VVC exhaust cams, on investigation I may as well go the whole hog for Piper or Kent , since the real costs are in the labour and timing the cams with verniers. Seemed like a good idea at the time...

Its worth trying a set of lotus RS140 cams (as used in RS140 Elise), same profile but much cheaper PTP had them on offer a little while ago. Alternatively a set of 135 cams from a breakers yard.
