And also received the bargain of the century of ebay. I managed by pure luck to find a rover 820 airbox to do the enclosed k&n mod like the ITG airbox......which i won for the sumly price of £1.99  all because the guy didnt list it as an 820 airbox but for a metro instead!!! :p2
Gonna scrap off all the work tomorrow and get the scoops sprayed up and glued on and set about fitting my newly acquired airbox

Top marks for Polo - very kind of him to him to do this.
Hi you two - glad yours arrived safely. I think I had a packaging malfunction with Sam's as one of hers got chipped in the post.
John - let me know how you get on with fixing yours.

Oh bugger, i bet shes gutted! :shake:
Well hopefully they shud be sprayed and bonded tomorrow, i know i gotta "modify" them slightly as with most GRP body bits as the flat bondable edge doesnt sit 100% flat to the original scoop, ut thats easily remedied.
You wouldnt by chance be wanting to see how good i do mine and butter me up to do yours perchance??

Black internal and body external isnt impossible, will just require a bit of nifty masking

Many thanks matey, yeah i sanded em down and they shud fit snug, but one advantage to doing them balck is that even if i get some tiger seal ooze out, it wont be as noticable!
The spray jo there is only 60%, ive yet to flat them back with 1200grit wet n dry and then laquer the living hell out of em LoL
