i had one similar on my mgf but took it off, i had premonetions of a low life coming along and snapping it of so fitted a flexible airial the type you find on the ford transits does the trick with good reception as well. :thumbsup:

Know where you're coming from hence why I like that it looks like a beesting when down - doesn't really even notice that it will extend until up close.
