Agreed, it's just a youtube video though. No idea who it is in reality.

Just a quick tip - if you decide you want to visit a town/city with pay & display parking in the centre, plan yourarrival for about midday. The locals will be going home for their lunch and you then pay for 2/3 hours and get another 2 hours free. Works every time. Of course most of the shops will be closed over the lunch period (saves a small fortune) but the bars/cafes will still be open. Carry a HV vest in your car, it's the law. I drape mine over the seat back, that way the police can see it and wont pull me over, especially in the Calais/French ports areas.

Did either of you have a first aid kit, triangle and extinguisher with you Tiger?

What about euro breakdown cover?

Triangle, yellow vest and marmite of course. Don't carry an extinguisher or first aid in this country. Took a bottle of water just in case of any leaks - could double up as an extinguisher perhaps :)
