The brake cables are held on by banjo clips normally, could it be that a previous owner replaced one with a nut and bolt? :dunno:

No worries mate, just good to hear that BB got past first time!
TBH after almost skinning every knuckle and finger tip on those bloody banjo bolts when we changed the brakes hoses to SS braided ones on Slave 1, I don't blame anyone for changing to the ease of a nut and bolt! Work of the devil those banjo clips I tells ya!!!!!!!!! :lol:

That sounds like it, I did the same on my F but put a double nut on the end to act as a locknut. Maybe I should change it before the MOT.
