Just a reminder - we all know that its toxic, but I for one didn't realise quite how bad it is.

A work colleaque has just lost 2 cats and has a third seriously ill through anitfreeze poisoning. The vet advised her that as little as a teaspoonful of the stuff can kill a cat. Presumably the same goes for a small dog etc. and it acts like a magnet to them (tastes nice I suppose).

I always take care to decant coolant properly but it would appear that even small spillages can have serious consequences.

In that case I may be responsible for killing the Belgian dairy herd with my recent spillage. Please keep it quiet if you hear anything like that.

Its th ethylene glycol content that's the culprit - if you're using OAT perhaps you only got half of them :lol:
