What kind of projects do you dream about having on your car? If money and time were no object, what mods would you like to complete?

I was spurred into looking at these recently, after folk moaning about F and Tf headlights... hmmmmm.....

What I would really like are adjustable height seats.

Specifically the ability to lower the seat so its flush to the floor.

I get sick of having to duck my head to see under the windscreen surround.

When I had the seats out to fit the heated pads, I found if I sat on the floor that was about the right height for me.:shrug:

They would have to adjust to allow Sheila to see over the steering wheel. :bust:

I've got the reversing sensors, and Clive's got a fold out satnav. :yesnod:

Gotta say mines almost where I want it apart for big brakes all round (APs ready for the front), getting the Cheater rear bumper resprayed and fitted and a sat nav as Lee said.

But if money was no object then a full leather/carbon fibre interior would be nice :yesnod:

But getting leather dash etc isn't cheap and a lot of carbon fibre bits would have to be 'bespoke' so it would be VERY expensive :nonod:

A Trophy 160 engine, supercharged, with a six speed Lotus box. Of course that would require blasting and refinishing the subframes, TF reinforcements, and uprated brakes.
As long as we're dreaming let's go with the 2nd Gen. Supersports body mods as well.

hi we do leather dashboards and we can do carbon trim,in case you ever wondered

I'd like wing mirrors with indicators and puddle lights built in.
A full leather interior would be nice too.
Instead of a fold out satnav I'm using an Android phone which will be replaced by an Android tablet when I find a decent mount for one.

Well... a Vintage Racing one
With front LE500 bumper Recaro seats... and much more... Will do but It will take me a while!

Look out for a Becker radio on E-bay, has a built in sat nav. Also Reversing sensors about £12 on e-bay. That just means you need to find the mirrors.

Top of my list would be an Offenhauser engine. Whats one of those most of you will be asking ? Its an old racing engine thats special because it has no separate cylinder head. Its all one casting. NO GASKET NEEDED .
