after spending 2 weeks doing a stock take and tidy up,clearing two lotus race cars we have found we hold around 20 cars in stock in parts from mgf to tf.so we are going to start selling parts parts,all parts cleaned and tested,and if buy any chance we dont have it we can locate it within 4 hours.
we did plan last year to start rebuilding mgfs/tf on a large scale of 2 a week,had every thing in place to start the production.build them on a prodution line having parts already on the shop floor refurbished so it would be simple bolt together,so we purchased 15 mgfs and broke them,simply to have a stock of parts,we also started to deal with a number of mgf breakers who would supply our operation.
the idea was simple.pop in order your car,and the body shell would selected and all the pre refurbished parts would then go on to the car,even managed to get new engines for 600 if we could buy 400 units a year.we had a long warehouse in place and it had believe it or not a set of tracks down one side that used to have a small crane on it.but the cars would have been pushed down and at each station the parts would have been fitted,
but at the last minute we simply put the whole idea on hold,investment worries,and the state of the country.but we do plan one day to start building mgfs/tfs.
But in the mean time we intend to use our parts and our contacts we aim to provide every part for these car
