Boot covers for rear lights
just received covers from Rimmer brs which cover the back of the rear lights in the boot.they cover and protect the mess of wiring and look great.Took a bit of fiddling to fit OK if you are small and can stand on your head. :woohoo: :thumbsup:

The MGOC did a reveiw and "how to fit" these (with pics) a few months ago i will see if i can find it they did say that the existing bolts on some earlier cars are too short to fit the covers without first removing the securing nuts, then needs two people the install, one to hold the light unit on the outside and one to fit the cover inside. MGOC were also selling them on special offer, from memory £19 for the pair. :thumbsup:

you are right about the length of the screws I had to use the ones which hold the lights in place, I first tried with the screws in place but the nuts held the covers away leaving a slight gap.I spoke to one of the MGF OWNERS CLUB at DONNINGTON yesterday who said they had a few but they had dried up and were now like hens teeth was he jealous :woohoo:
