115 TF wing mirror
I would appreciate some advice. The handle on the wing mirror, on our 115 TF, has broken away from the door. There appears to be a white plastic/nylon connector which is embedded in both the mirror and the handle. This has broken level with the handle.
Do I need to replace the whole mirror/handle, or is there a cheaper solution, please.
Can I say thanks, in advance, to anyone who posts a reply, it is much appreciated.

Couple of questions for you though;-
1. Which side is it. Driver or passenger?
2. Is it a standard black one?
3. You might want to try these links to guage a price, just in case they have a cheap one.

TBH the mirror isn't difficult to change, just a couple of screws.

Agree! You might be surprised how cheap a couple of electric mirrors are. The wiring loom will be in place, and all you need is the control switch.
Rimmer Bros have new electric mirrors at very reasonable prices. :yesnod:
£25-£29 is very good value!

I forgot to say that you can swap the painted section on these mirrors, so you can buy any colour electric mirror and match your car's colour.

Out of interest, is the wiring loom in place on a mk1 MGF (1999 VVC)?

It is nice to have the power mirrors, even though you seldom need to adjust them. At least the manual mirrors' massive handles are gone.
