VIN INFORMATION

Dieter, i need some help please.

Forum member Kimshros had her 2004 TF damaged by a freak hail storm in Zurich a few months ago and the insurance company have written it off, too expensive to repair (every panel is dented, grilles are smashed, even broke the rear lights) and she is now looking for another TF ~

Looked at one today, its a 2004 TF 135 in Yellow Reg No. is LY54 JZG (regd 30/12/2004) with VIN SARRDWBKC5D637467I would be pleased if you can check this VIN with your records, as according to your MGF VIN collection webpage the 2005 model year (started in July 2004) started with 5D639631

Can you also tell which yellow it is, Trophy Yellow FAR) or Sunspot (IAC)

If she doesn't buy that, we've just sold a gorgeous TF135 in stunning Typhoon...sadly, less than 24 hours later the new purchaser's hubby has lost his job and she's seriously thinking she may have to resell....PM me for details, but here's a link to the original ad we placed

My text regarding 5D639631 is rubish. Thankyou for the pointer :yesnod:
Need to correct that to VIN 5D633998 (app.)
Though, 5D639631 was a change at the hood frame, fuse panel etc.

I have nothing about the colour code relation to VIN for the late cars, but assume the Sunspot will be applicable cause there are more then this VIN in my files in that VIN range with special colours .
