1.8 or A 1.6 performance

sue my wife is looking to get rid of her F 200 y plate with 50k on the clock from new
she wants some thing newer and has looked at 05 astra 04 celica ect however shes seen a 06 tf 115 with 12k miles for silly money so tax and insurance will be cheaper and has aps and 12 spokes

however will you notice the performance or is there little in it as she loves to go fast around corners ect its only 10bhp down from the 1.8I

i know there might be no central locking but that cn be fixed for a cheap price :broon:

I have driven a 1.6 and they are quick enough. I know a couple of people who own these and they seem to get a move on for sure!!!

Condition is much more important than engine CC and any missing bits can be added at a later date, you enjoy fiddling with cars and are very, very good at it too :broon:

Is it an 05 model year? If so it should have the newer suspension with a better ride and a glass screen soft top

The i.6 is more than adequate, and a bit cheaoer to run. If you enjoy a free revving short stroke engine its greast fun as well.
