hi there was just thinking about my plans for my vvc engine mods .has anyone had port & polishing work done on there car.im thinking port & polished head .new cams not sure witch ones, throttle body and a good induction kit.I will be doing this work my self as it can exspensive

My limit of mechanical knowledge is checking oil, water, washer bottle and tyre pressures :)

The 52mm thottle body adds about1BHP at the top end and makes the car less drivable at lower RPM. The induction kit is a good idea on Fs . The K+N 52i seems to get good reports, I would be scared of hydraulic lock though if installed as recommended. There are some pics of ported VVC heads on the famous DVA site. I have to say porting the head on a K series is an attractive mod.

hydraulic locK ARE YOU REFERING TO solid followers .i dont think i would like to fit them all that shimming
