OK, resolution is to get back on here to annoy you guys.
So, for starters...anyone here had a Zandf remap done "off car"...very tempted at 200 notes and some good feedback...only 7 BHP for a MPI but with other mods , like mine maybe a wee bit more, but more importantly, a better power distribution throughout rev range, acceleration, and of course a better engine note/farts etc
Any doomsayers?

For that sort of money you can get proper live tuning which will get the best out of your engine - live tuning is always got to be better than generic tuning through the post.

Suppose it depends on what else you have fitted to your car and how much it differs from stock. Sending an ECU away to get remapped from a stock car will give certain gains, however turning up with car in hand will allow the people to tune your remap to that induction kit/ stainless manifold, downpipe and backbox and anything else you might have added giving gains above the 7bhp advertised.
