MOT fail but I'm happy
Well took Dora to Canterbury Street MOT Centre and she failed her MOT......................
on...........
both TRE's and a lower ball joint
however considering on last years certificate the mileage was 43275 and this years it is 67290 thats not a bad result for 24015 miles of motoring in a year :bust:
a nice easy fix completed in the torrential rain  (also replaced the top ball joint whilst in bits).
Big thanks to Ian at Primrose Link in Clitheroe for swapping the top joint over, which saved a lot of messing about and to Maggy for running around getting the parts and for the lend of Ophelia to get to work xxx
So off to get the wheels aligned on Monday morning at a garage recommended by the MOT tester. Looks like an interesting place.... http://www.phoenixmotorsports.co.uk/index.php I'll report back after we've been B)

they came off very easily as they were just replaced in june of this year , they havent lasted very long but they have had a hard life due to living along a very rough track.........
but even in june when i first replaced them they came of nice and easy as the last time they were fitted the previous owner/mechanic had had the foresight to apply copper grease to the threads when fitting
