as you guys may know we are starting to produce new mgfs/tfs.we have lightened the car.improved the engine performance.improved the suspension.the cars are due to have leather dash boards, doors and have real carbon fiber dash boards.our mgfs are around 0 to 60 in 6 seconds, handle as if on rails. But this is our problem.we are at the moment not decided on the braking system that will be fitted to the cars.the brakes need to be able to fit on 15 inch wheels.

The idea behind these cars is to produce a car that rover should have built if they had any idea on sports cars.we have borrowed a lot of ideas from lotus and we feel that the mgf/tf is a proper sports car. These cars are a fair bit lighter then the mgf/tf you guys drive, they are also 20% more powerful so stopping needs to be spot on.we have sorted out all the little issues these cars had.simple things like electric boot opener, electric cooling when the car is switched off.removing the plastic interior with soft leather improves the car. the subrames are no longer made of steel, and the suspension has been improved.

I know a lot of have different brake upgrades, and all the companies we have spoken too claim the earth. We have even considered having a leading and trailing caliper on each front wheel.so two calipers on one wheel.the suspension set up we are using allows the car to change direction without much movement of the body.so any ideas before we decide would be great

I am the local village idiot so my input would not fill a can of beans. However, there are endless threads on brakes and. indeed, disc on.org (I know but, we all want what's best for our cars girls and boys) which might be worth perusing. :silly:
