Posted 14 years 11 months ago #4418Also noticed now I think about it, there is a small plastic grommet missing... surely not at simple as that is it?

Posted 14 years 11 months ago #4424If that doesn't work, you could try that fix where you put plastic tubing under the window seals.

Posted 14 years 11 months ago #4452Squashed rubber - as Kara says pop some aquarium tubing down inside the drain channel in the rubber - that bumps it up a bit.
Badly adjusted window cheater - the rubber part where the mirror attaches can be adjusted inwards a bit by popping the door card off and fiddling with the nuts that hold it to the door panel.
Dodgy window stop - does your window go up too high if raised when the door is open? If so then the window stop is knackered and this is easily replaced for a tenner - again door panel off I'm afraid!

It's not a high tech design - basically as far as I can tell the stop just bangs into the inside top of the door panel! LOL
Rattly windows can be the adjustment or sometimes the actual runners get loose.. try gallons (not literally!) of lithium or spray grease in the runners too - if your cheaters are not wonky then I'd go with the tube in the rubber solution next.....
