Spanish mods hopefully soon coming to UK!

Hi all... firstly this is NOT a sales thread! I want to guage interest in some amazing mods I have been discussing with a Spanish enthusiast. Some of the pictures below have been posted on another forum - but feedback was limited and I need some specifics! Basically we need to know what you guys (and gals) are interested in, how much you think you'd be wiling to pay (you can pvt that info to me if it helps) etc.

I am trying to work out with my contact which parts would be viable to import to the UK for us all.... obviously T-Bar members would get a preferential rate, plus if the venture comes off there is the possibility of a road trip to get bits rather than pay import costs!

Anyway here goes:


Vertical lift doors and amazing (CRX Style) boot



Racing style behind seat pods



Pods stored in boot



Modified front bumper with Corsa headlights



Independent controllable suspension (see those behind seat racing pods)



Here it is lowered drivers side and raised passenger side!


Special design side vents grilles

We also have the possibility to produce replacement bumpers of high quality, plus

Oh and carbon fibre dash pods that don't snap their lugs every five minutes!

The prices we are using all ball-park fingures are......

The targa tops will come in 3 versions:

Carbon fiber: 3000€
texalium 2500€
polyester 450€(no glass)

Vertical door hinges:
600€


The rear of seat racing pods in 3 versions:

carbon fiber 1000€
texalium 700€
polyester 160€


Special side vent grilles:

15€

Independant suspension:

Parts alone 1000€ (this is without fitting which potentially could be DIYable but not something for the feint hearted!)


These are the guide prices we are thinking of for the bits so far.... comments woudl be greatly appeciated... as I said before this is NOT a sales thread - we are a way away from actually selling these bits in the UK as yet (I woudl imagine early next year).

Wow! Firstly what a stunning looking car!

I'd be interested in the custom front bumper. Any ideas if any modification to the bonnet would be required to incorporate the corsa headlights?

Also interested in the lambo style doors, carbon fibre dash pod, and custom grilles. :thumbsup:

Not sure on mods needed as yet - just gauging interest and opinions on prices. I tried to make sure we have a 'range' for some items to cater for various pockets!

Sounds like a good range! Also add to the list of interested parts the racing style behind seat pods as Frank likes them.

I like the behind seat pods & lambo doors.............I REALLY love the wheels with the black on the rims, I know they are only 6 spokes but thats what I want!

possibly interested in the door hinges

have seen some (granted not for mg) on sale for £450

Could be interisted in a dash pod.

Just to say that I have seen this car and it's stunning. All the modifications look very nice and useful. Furthermore, the “Spanish enthusiast” that created them is very a serious person with a very original way to look at his beloved F.

on and off topic but, what about the bonnet? i know CJJ was planning on producing us a bonnet to deduct our radiator air but haven't herd anything about it for agesss
