Beryl has a wet boot and mouldy carpet. Where is the most likely culprit for this? Could it be the boot seal?

Either the boot seal (not just the rubber but also if you look at the top corners where the seal joins to the body there are two panels welded together... on Meg these were letting water in until I used silicone sealer on them!

It could also be the crappy sponge gaskets that go behind the rear lights - these perish and leak too - again a drop of silicone can help (although only on one side otherwise your lights will be stuck in!).

Yep, that's the 2 main culprits. I would check the lights first as they are the easiest.

There can be has also been reports of water coming between the panels of the boot lid, sort of creeping along beteen the join.
