BitzNpieces run 24 Oct 09

We had a good run out yesterday. There was 7 cars including myself and Teri.

We started at Tankersley and drove some scenic routes, including the Snake pass, into Glossop and then down into Hadfield where we stopped for fish and chips.

We then carried on to http://www.mgfntfbitz.co.uk/ where Darren and Jill laid on a great spread of cakes and really made us feel welcome. Chatted about Fs and TFs (they are both very knowledgeable).

If you are after any bits then they are well worth a try.

Then we travelled back to Tankersley.

Anyway, some pics for you.

I must admit it was a fantastic day out. The weather was a little bit against us, but that didnt stop us having the tops down!!!

The egg cus t a r d s were nice. That's why I had 2, err, and a vanilla slice, and errr, a doughnut.

But then again, I had nowt in the chippy.

I wouldn't have had all them cakes, but they had laid them on and no one else was making an effort. I felt as though I had a duty as the only attending organiser.

Lol well someone had to didnt they? I did have one of those little choccie fairy cakes oh and a little bit of flapjack

No the k n o b is still broken... Well no, the k n o b isnt but the shaft that it fits onto seems to have gone back into the matrix housing somehow :dunno:
But, on a plus note, the clutch isnt so bad now

'Twas a good day out.

Even the bit where I found my missing bonnet light switch in one of Darrens many boxes, connected it then realised my car was locked and the switch worked the alarm too..!!

My ears are still ringing..!!

Yep - even I saw the funny side..!!

Such a shame that 'The Purple Peril' couldn't join us though...............
