When I got my VVC a couple of weeks ago I hooked up the Faultmate and found a long list of fault codes.
As the car had been sitting for months, had a flat battery etc I just cleared them to see what new ones came up.
I took the car on a 500km trip last weekend with a good mix of city and highway driving. Today I hooked up the Faultmate and programmed a new fob and checked the codes while I was at it. Only one fault showed up, which makes me happy.
THE MEMS FAULT CODE MEMORY CONTAINS CODES FOR THE FOLLOWING FAULTS -:
FUEL RAIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT OUTPUT VOLTAGE TOO HIGH (FAULT LOGGED)
FUEL RAIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT OUTPUT VOLTAGE (FAULT ACTIVE)
Of course I went to my usual parts list, Rimmers website, but couldn't find a listing for a "Fuel Rail Temp Sensor"
Does anyone know what the code refers to? Possibly by a different name? A part number would be nice if possible!
I did search the forum for Clives "Sensor Locations" list but couldn't find it. I'm hoping that Leigh will do one of his...
"Here it is (ya blind git! :pinch: ) posts in reply.
Thanks :yesnod: Rich

I've been looking through Dieter's site and may have got it figured out but will report back after taking a look at the engine.

There's a good sensors link in
Davids' sensors thread here.
Is that any good to you?
