Fitted it almost as far back as you possibly can. Did have to cut an opening on the inside of the boot where it is double skinned to insert the bolts, but I reckon it was worth the effort, the spoiler further forward looked a bit odd to me.

Looks great, Paul!:yesnod:
Did you reinforce around the holes in the boot skin?

Yes I fitted 1" washers under the rear holes (largest I could fit and the two front holes have 1 1/2" washers under them.

I did a first fit but was unhappy with the space around the supports, even after shaping to fit (which is definitely needed) where they met the underside of the spoiler, so I glued them to the spoiler and used body filler to blend them so they look like they are all one piece. I tdid make fitting a little more difficult but well worth the extra time.

I had noticed on some peoples rear spoilers that you could see the reflection of the casting info in the paintwork of the car, so I sanded these off before painting. It was also needed I wanted to fit the stripes to the underside of the spoiler too.

Here are a couple more photos

The spoiler works well with the stripes - a neat job. You need some stripes on your soft top now.

 Just waiting for the Club discount with a company who could make me a custom hood for me.

Had thought of painting it but fortunately my blood alcohol level dropped back to normal levels :bust:
