As I am married you might be wondering why I am asking for the female shopping rules on the T-Bar forum.instead of asking my wife, Well the reason is simple, I want to live.
Most of us chaps will be pondering what shopping rules you ladies use at this time of year, so come on girls tell us how you are organised.
1) Why do you always stand in shop doorways to talk with friends ?
2) Why do you always look at the prices of items in other shops after you have already bought them ?
3) In shoe shops ( yes i have been dragged into one ) why do you grab a pair, say they are to die for, say they are a perfect fit, and then at the check out ask if they have them in another colour ?
4) Why do you always check all the goods in a shop that you know is too expensive, and then hiss when you read the tag ?
5) THE BIG ONE. Why Oh Why do you always have to look at every single item between the door and the item that you have come to buy ?
6) Why do you never have the correct change ready at the checkout, and your purse lost in the bottom of your handbag ?

I could go on but I think I should leave space for some of the other guys on the forum, plus as I said I would like to live. Anyhow girls what are your answers ?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

why do you see something you like in the first shop, then spend the next 5 hours looking every where else before returning to the first shop to buy the item? :shake::dunno:

Yeh, I forgot that one. You should have added that when you got back to the first shop it had gone. Then another 5 Hrs trying to find an alternative.

As a self-confessed shopaholic I believe I can answer your question hun.

We women are primarily fussy creatures and we DO love to fuss! We fuss over our weight, our diet, our health, our appearance, our pets, our kids, our partners etc. etc. etc. therefore we find pleasure in shopping because shopping is at its essence the centre of 'fuss'. They should call it a Fussing Centre rather than Shopping Centre. At the Fussing Centre we can fuss to our hearts content. Take this simple question for example... what shoes will go with the Karen Millen moc croc handbag I just bought...?

The fussing process

Hmm... the Karen Millen shoes that match my moc croc handbag are far too expensive so I need a cheaper alternative but where am I going to find moc croc shoes that match the exact colours and design of the bag? Maybe I should just pick the prominant colour on the bag & look for that colour in shoe form... after hours of shopping I've managed to narrow it down to a few... now naturally the most expensive pair is the best (even if it isn't) but now I'm fussing that the heel is slightly higher than I wanted it to be so will I actually wear them? Will I put them on for 5 minutes then after an erruption of blisters take them off and put something else on instead... hmm in that case should I buy a back up pair of moc croc shoes that are flatter and more comfortable... but if I do that I might as well buy the actual matching shoes because that would work out as cheaper than buying two pairs. Then again I suppose I could just take a spare pair of shoes I already own and that way I wouldn't have to buy a spare pair... but what shoes do I own that already go with my outfit... hmm... my white evening sandals would go very well actually... well in that case do I actually even need a new pair of shoes? ...mmm new shoes :drool5: ... well it's settled! Back to Karen Millen to buy the matching pair!

Time wasted: 5 hours
Money spent: £365
Amount of Fuss involved: priceless :cloud9:

Just shows how femail logic works. Us guys make sure that we only have black or brown shoes, reduces the choice. Plus most of us chaps would get rid of the handbag. Not a match with the car is it ?

I'm sure the trick is to own one pair of trainers. No other silly shoes. Then it's obvious. Trainers or bare feets!

See I'm not sure about that... I've just looked on boots.com for a shaver for my Dad and I must admit I'm thoroughly confused! Why do you guys have so many different types? :dunno:

Now thats a simple question to answer. Its to stop you girls borrowing our shavers, the more complex they are the less likely they are to be used by others. Its the same principle with video and DVD remote controls. Now looking for a Meercat simple Simile !

Just to assist you, the Philips 3-head shavers 6000 and 7000 range shavers are very good. Just pick what you can afford and they should be OK. Also give ARGOS a look they normally have a good range.
Now how come you have managed to chage the order of this post ? Us guys are asking about shopping rules not giving them.
