disconnecting battery

HI all am about to carry a full sevrice on the TF, thought I'd disconnect the battery, would I find any surprises, when I go back to connect it? like non working alarm and things?? Thanks

You might have to resync your fob (but I have never had to yet) and I would make sure that you know your radio code if you have one.

No problems.

Don't leave the keys in the ignition either, I have heard of the car locking when the battery is reconnected, only for the owner to realise the keys are inside.

yeh when you reconnect the battery there is a good chance the alarm will go off (doesn't always it seems to be random) which can be rather loud when your heads under the bonnet!!!

The end result is usually you jumping and banging your head... be warned this will make your friends laugh and cost you pennies in the swear jar... OR you could be holding the bonnet with your left hand and connecting the battery with your right, you will jump when the alarm sounds and drop the bonnet on your head... this is VERY painful and not recommended :P
