This particular MGF featured in the MG Quiz some 9 months ago (

To set the scene here is a very brief history.
The first MGF Super Sports, the 1998 Supercharged EX254, Special Project 'The Rebel' was shown at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show to increase publicity for the MGF.
The car was;
VIN Number SARRDLBPN3D614739
Supercharged 200Ps K Series engine
Uprated race-spec suspension
Eight-spoke alloy road wheels
210/605 R16 race tyres - front
220/640 R17 race tyres - rear
AP Racing brake equipment
This car was sold at an auction at Brands Hatch, 27th May 2007, for £13,526

The car currently up for sale is the SuperSports2 a road going version of the SuperSport1
The car was first shown at Geneva, this time the year was 2000
MG Rover later changed the colour to Green chromeflake metallic and gave it a new interior. With the collapse of MG Rover the car was put up for sale in an auction where the description read;
Lot 665, MGF '1.8 VVC Supersport' 2-Door Roadster

Registration No. R677 ROF
VIN No. SARRDWBGBXD040826
Date Registered: 29/11/1999;
Colour: Green (chromaflare)
This car is a Design Concept Vehicle and is fitted with green leather interior & MG Supersports bodywork styling enhancement and has only ever been used as a show car.
In 2006 the car was again offered for sale, this time the asking price was £15,950.
Darren Vaughan, the current owner of the Super Sport 2 last weekend put the car up for sale. The asking price in 2012

Pleeeeee3eeeease someone buy it and let me have a passenger ride if I was retired with pension payout I'd buy this
