Posted 11 years 11 months ago #77262But its a personal choice.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Personally I cannot make my mind up, but have been toying with the idea of burgundy carbon ones on Mr G :yesnod:
I think a nice blue on yours, subtle, but will give you the "I'm striped" without looking like a hormonal Bee

ive 3 options on stripe colour, black (as with theme of the rest of the car)
graphite so its subtle and understated,
or my favourite which will be totally ottt orange!!!! :woohoo:
but i just dont know if its gonna ruin the car :omg: :omg:

If you do go for it, look at Phil's on Dora for inspiration - they're the most subtle, are the only ones I have liked 'in the flesh', and don't scream "I wanted a Viper, but all I got was this MG".

but i think its just a case of the right combination of colours,
i think the the lotus elises look rather smart with there stripes.
and it gives the car already very good looking, a little bit of individualality for the owner,
and just being a little different is what i find appealing

Spot on. Ultimately it's your car, and if it's missing that certain something then you either replace it, or mod it.
I'm glad I don't have to drive around in a monstrosity where people have taken things too far, and turned their -originally- gorgeous wee car into something it's not.

Not orange though as with my blue addition, we'd be like opposites heehee
The colour of the car already makes you stand out (ive been told that too) but there will still be other Monogram ones out there somewhere so why not
