Posted 12 years 1 month ago #776311. Use standard 4 stud, 95.25 pcd wheels (team dynamics do this fitting)
2. Fit hub adapters (Jon Norris or Mike Satur do these) you can then put virtually any 4 stud wheel on. I'm running with Jon's adapters and all it does is make it look like you have wider wheels. If you're fitting 17s then you will need to push back your wheel arch liners otherwise they will rub on full lock.
3. Fit 100pcd flanges, Allen's looking in to getting some made up.
Hope this helps a little.
If a jobs worth doing, it's worth overdoing

Posted 12 years 1 month ago #77634Allan heated my wheel liners and pushed them back to eliminate rubbing, quick and simple job to do, well it was for him

Posted 12 years 1 month ago #77688Or another option is to take them to a machine shop who will plug the holes out and redrill to your spec.

Posted 12 years 1 month ago #77909I've seen the wheels I want and can only get them in 5 stud
This means custom flanges
New brake discs
New wheels... Not a cheap option but as my car will have custom brakes its not to big a deal for me

Posted 11 years 1 month ago #130245Hope its ok to revive this thread
I like the look of the mgzr 17" straights which are sooo cheap I thought it was worth investigating them and was going to see how much they would cost to get redrilled to fit my mgf at a local engineering shop.
So the PCD needs to go down from 4x100 to the 4x95.25
The Centre Bore needs to increase by 0.5mm
The only difference then is the offset, which is 45 on the zr wheels (as compared to the 35 on the f).
Would I need to use spacers to space them out or would I be lucky and the ZR wheels may clear the inner arches?... has anyone tried doing this already?
The last question is if all the above works out, what do you recon on my chances of fitting them over ap calipers!
Thanks
Martin

Just wondering where they came up with 95.25 for the PDC (95.25/25.4=3.75)
Morris Marina, Lotus Elan/Elise, Triumph Herald etc all three and three quarter inch pitch circle diameter; Obviously some MG bits never made it into the metric system!
