I have just got a set of 'steel' gauges. As my first 'dark side' project. The people at Metal Monkey, were fantastic. The quality is brilliant and the service first rate. Postage to Oz was also not to bad and quick.
I will post a few photos when I have finished.

I have the metal monkey heater dial plate and it looks much more modern, I haven't replaced the speedo rev counter etc, the price seems a bit steep to me.

Tracy that looks lovely...
Would like Metal Monkey dials, but I would want the higher red line on the rev counter that the VVC has...
Then could work on backlighting, probably using white EL strips with gels to get amber.
