TF bumper on an F was created by Fred

I saw recently an F with TF front bumper and lights on for sale.

Is it a big job to do? I'm assuming so but thought I'd ask the question.

The mount behind the bumper needs to be changed as it has 2 extra mount points than the f bumper bar, mgf n TF bitz have them and they are easily available on eBay.

Why not just buy a TF? :p especially when the TFs arent as nice!

Youll have an agressive and angular front and the nicer, better curvy rear...?

If I was buying as a daily drive I would buy a tf but this is only gonna be a weekend car so I cant justify the extra outlay for a tf. Although by the time ive changed the water pump etc and swapped the bumper n lights I could've bought a tf

I guess it depends on your budget, I can get you a pretty good F with 3 months warranty for £600, add to that the cost of a TF bumper (Around £200), bumper mount (Not a huge amount, about £50 for arguments sake), respray to get the right colour, headlights, etc, etc, your pretty much at a low end TF price point.

Having said that, I've had both and still have and love my TF. Each have their own qualities but whichever you get, you'll love it. They really do get under your skin after a while. Best fun you can have on 4 wheels :D

at the end of the day its your car so you dont have to justify what you do.every panel is interchangable,we have done a few ourselves, the front bumper needs the bumper iron to go with it as the mgf bolts behind the indicator.the lights will also have to be changed on the front.the rear boot.rear bumper no worries.
The tf is what is known in the car trade as a face lift model.inother words the company just updated the shell .

Only 2 problems with that

1) the time it takes to make it (hours)

2) it wouldnt be a one off anymore
